Melody started learning the piano at the age of 3 and the violin at the age of 5. She switched to viola at the age of 15 and joined the Singapore National Youth Orchestra. She currently studies Suzuki pedagogy in violin and majors in Viola Performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music. She loves teaching students of all ages and also hopes to be a professional orchestra musician after completion of her studies.
